This device connects with your vehicle's data network CAN, and creates a unique pin number using the factory buttons on your dashboard and steering. This prevents the thief being able to start your vehicle. If the wrong PIN is entered, it will stop your engine from starting which makes it impossible for you to drive away with your joy and pride.

Once the hacker has gained a connection to your vehicles OBD port, they are able to send diagnostics requests to the system at high baud rates that can crash the CAN, and prevent systems within your vehicle from functioning.
